If you’re having a problem with your Income Support, you can reach them on 0345 608 8545. This number can be used if you haven’t been paid if you would like to report an overpayment or you wish to make a complaint regarding your experience with the Income Support team.
More about Income Support
Income Support is a benefit provided by the UK Government. If you are on a low income, you can claim Income Support in order to support yourself or to “top up” your current pay wage. If you claim Income Support from the UK government, you may also be entitled to claim other benefits, such as Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, Child Tax Credits and Carer’s Allowance. If you have savings of over £16 000 then you will not be able to claim Income Support.
In order to claim Income Support, you will need to be between 16 and Pension Credit age. You will also need to work fewer that 16 hours a week, or be unemployed as a carer in order to claim the benefit. If you fail your application, you can also appeal the decision, a decision which could be taken to court down the line. If you believe you have the right to apply for this benefit, then you should appeal the decision. To appeal, you can call 0345 608 8545 and speak to someone from Income Support directly.
If you are a lone parent, you are entitled to Income Support alongside any child tax credit that you also claim from the government. For more information on this, call 0345 608 8545 and someone will be ready to help you further.
If you are 18-24 and are currently on an unpaid internship or apprenticeship, you could be entitled to the Income Support. Calling 0345 608 8545 will put you in touch with a member of staff who can assist you in finding out your eligibility.
