Prepayment tariffs allow costumers to pay for their power when necessary through a key or a card that can be ‘topped up’ at anywhere that displays the PayPoint or Payzone signs (for example at shops or service stations) or at the post office. E.ON offers a tariff called EnergyPlan with Prepayment with no exit fees, no commitment, no fixed prices and an annual statement. E.ON’s customer services will try their best to resolve your problem and if they’re unable to answer a question or help you they will refer you to a different team who will be fully prepared to sort things out. If you can smell gas, worried about carbon monoxide or think you have a gas leak you need to contact 0800 111 999 immediately to speak to someone on the gas emergency team then you need to extinguish all naked flames such as candles or cigarettes, open all windows and doors, refrain from turning anything electrical on or off including lights and turn your gas supply off. If you are having trouble with your gas boiler call 0800 051 1470 to book an appointment with an engineer. If you’re having troubles with prepayment meter call 0345 300 8144 to speak to someone on their specialised team.

Electrical Emergencies – 105

If you’re experiencing a power outage or other electrical emergencies call 105 to be directed to your local energy distributor who will deal with your emergency, if your neighbours have power there is a fault with the electrics in your home contact a local electrician, do not put yourself in danger.
