If you think you may have a gas leak, concerns about carbon monoxide or you can smell gas you need to open all windows and doors in your house, extinguish any bare flames such as cigarettes or candles and then call the Gas Emergency Services on 0800 111 999 they will instruct you on what to do depending on your situation.

Electrical Emergencies – 0800 096 9000

If you are having a power cut or a different electrical emergency you can call 105 or EDF energy on 0800 096 9000 to be directed to your local network distributor, calls are free of charge. If you ring the EDF energy emergency number you will need to tell a member of the team the two relevant digits from your supply number (the two digits can be found in the bottom left of the ‘s’ grid on your electricity bill) for them to be able to direct you to your local distributor, if it is not an emergency please call the customer service team.
